The Lumen

A modern minimal contemporary bungalow, reimagined into a brighter and more functional home for everyday living. The design embraces clean lines, soft neutral tones, and layered wood textures, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere throughout. The living and dining areas are thoughtfully composed as a seamless, open space, where a double-volume setting and full-height openings draw in natural light.

Outdoors, the original fish pond has been reconfigured to better support the family’s lifestyle. Relocated along the boundary, it now frames a more open courtyard that functions as a relaxed chill area, ideal for gatherings, or even family BBQ sessions. A small landscaped garden leads into this space, softening the transition between indoors and outdoors while introducing a calming natural element.

The sense of openness continues through the home, especially along the staircase hallway where large windows invite generous daylight in, creating a bright and airy transition between levels. In the master bathroom, a skylight is introduced to bring in natural sunlight from above, enhancing the overall sense of calm and openness.
